Have you ever been chatting iwth someone on Facebook/Skype/oovoo/ect. typed a word, realize you couldn't spell the word, then backspaced and typed a different word or phrase?
I've literally gone out of my way and written many extra words to describe the one word that would have fit perfectly. Luckily spelling does not reflect intelligence.
